Ron's Bio!

Ron Barbetti has worked in the manufacturing quality role since graduating Drexel University as a Materials Engineer. The industries he has worked for include medical device, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing. Ron was a board member of the Philadelphia chapter of ASQ for many years prior to relocating from South Jersey to Jacksonville with his family in 2006 to pursue better weather for tennis and water sports.

Current Employer(s) with Position/Title and Responsibilities

Ron is the Quality Manager for SAFT-America, the world's largest manufacturer of Industrial batteries. SAFT is building their new $200M manufacturing facility in Cecil Commerce Center in Jacksonville. The Jacksonville facility will be the World Class showcase of this French-based company, and expects to be ready for production in mid 2010 with a workforce of 280 employees.
